A guide to health checkups for your new students
The Washington State Board of health developed this
eight-page color brochure to help
parents understand the importance of a well-child checkup around
the start of kindergarten. The brochure explains what
families can expect when a child goes in for a checkup at the age of five.
The Board could produce the brochure in only limited numbers. The files
available below are designed to make reproduction easy for other
organizations that want to use the brochure in their work. The files come in color
versions and grayscale versions. The grayscale versions are designed to be
printed or photocopied in black and white. Impositioned versionswhere
the
pages are assembled as they would be if printed or copied front to back and stapled
in the center to form a brochureare also provided. Crop marks are
included so the brochure can be trimmed to the intended size (5.5" x
8"). All files are in portable document file (PDF)
format and can be viewed using Acrobat Readerฎ, which you can you can
download
for free from Adobe Reader. Board staff will be happy to help
arrange reprints for organizations that are able to cover the printing
cost. For more information contact Craig McLaughlin at (360) 236-4106 or Craig.McLaughlin@doh.wa.gov. Open
