Annie Conant

Representing the Department of Community, Trade, and Economic Development
Date Appointed: August 2006

Annie Conant, Managing Director, Department of Community, Trade, and Economic Development (CTED).  Annie Conant heads up the Housing Assistance Unit of the Housing Division within CTED.  She is responsible for programs that are primarily designed to increase opportunities for extremely low-income, homeless and special needs households to succeed in Washington State.  Ms Conant has been with CTED for the past 21 years.  Prior to that, she worked for county and city government focusing on community and low-income workforce development services.  She most recently completed the Executive Management Program of the Cascade Center for Public Service and Leadership, Evans School of Public Affairs, University of Washington.  A graduate of the University of Oregon with a major in Public Affairs and Community Services, Ms. Conant holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from Seattle University.
